Bike Route to TRC, New Rochelle?
I'm thinking of biking from Manhattan up to TRC in New Rochelle. Has anyone ever done this? Know of any good routes? Is there anywhere by TRC to lock up a bike securely? Thanks in advance!
I'm not a bike rider, but- ??Riverdale Ave. north to Nepperhan all the way up to its end to get to the Westchester bike trail (south section), and the reverse route Henry Hudson side road south to Riverdale Ave. to Broadway to get into Manhattan.

If you get there: There are abundant places to park and lock your bike because there is a walkway railing into the club with room on either side so your bike is not in the walkway.

The rain last weekend forced me to go by car, but I think with all that traffic it'll actually be faster by bike! And you're right, that walkway railing looks to be pretty sturdy for bikes.
Do you happen to know if your route along Riverdale/Nepperhan has a bike lane. If so, that might be a good route from where I start in Inwood.
