Left foot, 45. Right foot, 44.5. Got the opposite problem, and looking for new shoes?
My left foot is a half-size bigger than my right foot (45 is around 10.5, and 44.5 is around 10), and I'm in the market for new climbing shoes.
I'm an intermediate climber, climbing mostly at CCC, Central Park, and Northern Manhattan (Fort Tryon, Inwood, etc.). I don't need the best shoes on the planet, but I would like a really good pair that will last (given some TLC and the occasional re-soling).
If you have the opposite problem from me, I'll buy one pair and you buy the other, and we'll swap left feet. Sound good?
oreo,
Shoe companies offer split sizing. The only one I can think of right now is http://evolvsports.com/ Their dealer locator says EMS downtown carries their shoes. If you look at other shoe company websites you'll find more. Your only problem then is finding a retail location to try on the different sizes before ordering from the manufacturer.
Good luck with it.
Jim
Thanks Jim, that's great to hear. I was going to head down to check out the new EMS this week anyway and try on shoes there. I'll try and find out what other companies split sizing.
