hi, I am new to climbing in nyc and am not ready to pay for a membership to a gym with the facilities. is there anywhere where i can pay per climb?

Many gyms have day passes, $17 or $18, stay as long as you like.Go to the gyms' websites and check their locations and rates.(look at 'Climbing Gyms' tab above)
