Yuki, The Guru of Rat Rock, Is Leaving Us Forever - Gathering Sat the 10th 5pm at Rat Rock

bummed that i missed it. i was in town over the weekend and hung out at Rat Rock for a bit hoping to run into Yuki, only to find out that he has left for Japan. sad that I won't get to see him again, but glad to hear that there was a gathering before his departure and that he is likely very happy to be back in Japan (and I hear there is a great climbing/bouldering scene there).

like many others, he took me under his wing and taught me much of what I know about bouldering; proper footwork, body positioning, technique, and how to push myself to do harder stuff.
