Cool place to climb. Great bouldering and top ropes, with a variety of problems that are constantly changing. Cool atmosphere with friendly climbers and staff. Definitely the best gym in NYC. Oh yeah, its also $100 cheaper per month than the chelsea piers.
Discount Entry (limited time only) as of late December 2009
50% off admission when purchased between 9-11pm
the gym is ok, very good bouldering section. The top ropes a bit too short (I'm used to 60ft indoor walls), so you end up climbing higher grades than you probably could because you don't fatigue as much.
avoid Saturdays if you can, way too crowded
I don't think the rates are still the same as listed above. In the past few weeks the rates have changed more than once and they aren't updated on their website. I love this gym, it's a great place for bouldering, but it gets crowded, fast!
