Your references are very good--thank you. I have chronic problems with certain fingers; I always say my tendons are like the rubber bands in the kitchen junk drawer; they just do not have that elasticity anymore and no longer stretch and rebound well.. For heat, you can but a "Therabeads" hand therapy muff. You put it in the microwave and it gives nice moist heat, and is reusable. AAAH--feels good.
