Climb for a Cause

By josh4touch - Posted on 26 May 2010

In case summitting Africa’s highest peak wasn’t enough of an incentive on its own, why not Climb Kilimanjaro and help build a better health system for Africa? The Touch Foundation, a non-profit organization based in New York, and working extensively in Tanzania to address the health care crisis in sub-Saharan Africa, is looking for climbers willing to participate in its “Climb for Health” campaign. Touch works with private and public institutions to create more health care workers and facilities to provide the average Tanzanian with the access to health that most of us take for granted. Touch is looking for climbers willing to take on our cause, do a little fundraising, and “Climb for Health.” If you have ever thought of going to Tanzania to climb Kili, why not take advantage of this opportunity to turn what would be an awesome personal experience into something that will make a lasting impact on the future of Tanzania?
